Awani brings to this position over sixteen years of wide-ranging interdisciplinary experience. He is conversant in maritime procedures involving Nigeria Port Authority, Nigeria Maritime Authority (NMA) Shipping Agents, and custom clearing procedures. He is also familiar with the procedures of PPMC and DPR. He has worked closely with independent marketers, in charge of loading operations.
He has a predisposition for order and planning which has continued to guarantee Rit-B’s efficient deployment and servicing of supply chain lines and logistics management. He has a higher national certificate (HNC) in Business Studies and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management studies (shipping) from Plymouth Polytechnic, England, and is also an associate member Chartererd Institute of Transportation London, in addition to other professional certifications.
